After the company asked the government for full ownership in 2015, the Bengaluru Urban District deputy commissioner ruled that 3.23 acres of land from the project be taken back. In 2005, the plot was given to Joy Ice Creams for a software park. In 2006, the Special Deputy Commissioner gave it to the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB).
